Jennifer Churchill, M.B.A., Ph.D.

opus_leadership.jennifer.churchillJennifer’s in-depth background in psychology combined with an M.B.A. well qualifies her in advising today’s business leaders.  Her dual expertise has proven an appreciated asset when conducting leadership assessments, creating succession planning programs, and engaging in management due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. Her insights and advice to organizations in the areas of leadership effectiveness, business acumen, and interpersonal awareness result in a lasting impact and experienced effectiveness for today’s most competitive leaders. Jennifer also possesses a passion for working with sports leaders and teams as demonstrated by her research, which compares successful senior managers to successful NCAA athletic coaches.  Jennifer brings a unique quality to Opus Leadership Group, combining academia and her experience with some of the most successful business and sports leaders to forge a competitive edge for her clients. Jennifer has worked in a variety of industries including academia, athletics, commercial real estate, construction, finance, healthcare, consumer packaged goods, public utility, small businesses, transportation, pharmaceutical, retail, non-profit, startups and technology.

Prior to joining Opus Leadership Group, she was a consultant with an international management psychology firm specializing in leadership development for senior management teams and boards of organizations.  She also owned a consulting business specializing in advising medical practices and small partnerships. Additionally, she was as an adjunct faculty member for the College of Education and the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.

Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. She received a Master of Science degree in Counseling from St. Cloud University in Minnesota, an M.B.A. from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business, and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver. Professional memberships include American Psychology Association, Society of Consulting Psychology and Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, TiE-Rockies: The Global Network of Entrepreneurs, and Women’s Vision Foundation.

Additionally, she was an NCAA All American swimmer at Kenyon College and a current Masters Swimmer.   When she is not working or in the pool, she finds herself being drawn to more of what Colorado’s playground has to offer.
