Gregg Stracks, Psy.D.

Gregg’s background in psychology and business enable him to provide a broad based and systemic point of view when advising executives. He strives to help business leaders achieve greater perspective on and advantage through their leadership capabilities. His ability to connect on an interpersonal level encourages his clients to take risks and develop new ways of thinking about the business. Remaining closely linked to his clients' business goals and imperatives, he assists executives in solving complex problems and improving performance. Gregg ultimately helps clients make meaningful change and valuable contributions to their organizations. His areas of expertise include leadership assessment and development, selection assessments, management due diligence, coaching high potentials and advising company leadership regarding integrating new executives. Gregg has consulted to a range of industries including banking, nuclear energy, education, entrepreneurial startups, family-run businesses, financial services, government, healthcare, hospitals, global non-profits, technology, telecommunications, retail, renewable energy and academic institutions.

Prior to joining Opus Leadership Group, Gregg was a consultant with a firm of management and organizational psychologists specializing in advising senior executives and teams on leadership and organizational development. Gregg began his consulting career by forming an internationally focused private practice advising senior executives and officials within US and international governments, non-profits and private sector organizations in the healthcare sector. Gregg advised global health organizations and their partners regarding strategic implementation and team and organizational development. His leadership experience includes a management position within a community mental health center, where he developed new programs and supervised a team of clinicians.

Gregg earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Dickinson College. He received a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hartford and a Doctorate of Psychology from the University of Denver. He is a member of the American Psychological Association. Outside of his consulting focus, Gregg enjoys spending time with his wife and family. His other interests include adventure travel, photography and a variety of outdoor activities.
